The regional focus of this web site is intended to help paddlers find the rivers, lakes, shores, outfitters, retailers, boats, and paddling connections that are most accessible to them. This "regionalism" is not meant to exclude anyone. No matter where you are located or where you paddle, you are encouraged to participate here.

The majority of the content of NPMB comes straight from its users - paddlers like you and me. The Discussion Forums are the heart of the NPMB web site. This is where you can post your messages and reply to posts from other users.

Other content areas include: Trip Reports, Paddling Articles (Home Boat Shop, Paddling Kitchen, Safety, etc.), and Gear Reviews. In these areas you can view information offered by NPMB users who have shared their extensive and diverse paddling experiences. All registered users can quickly and easily contribute new content by clicking on any of the "Submit Your..." navigation links.

The NPMB Paddling Calendar offers an interactive database of paddling events in the Northeast Region. You can browse, search, and add events.
