Good news finally!

The Federal Energy Regulatory Agency (FERC) approved the implementation plan on June 3rd, and NYSEG is currently working to get the facilities in place to open access.

I just received an email from NYSEG that said they are hoping for this Friday - but that is still tenative. If I get updates from NYSEG, I will post the info here.

In a cruel twist of fate, the Ausable is actualy running kind of high right now for the chasm. Of course, that means other things on the Ausable are running (I ran the section near Whiteface just yesterday). The Ausable will drop quickly, though, once the rain stops and the Chasm will be the only thing around soon enough.
