I have heard from the powers that be that we will have water.

Please shoot me an e-mail if you need last minute registration information.

I didn't realize that this race was a possible scratch due to low water... Now I understand your plea for rain.

Glad to read that we'll be racing

About camping here is what I've been told.
"on-site is ok
no tents
in car/truck only
put the camping access side of the vehicle away from the path

there's a lot of foot traffic on the path and we don't want to have the passersby be offended"

So I imagine stripping butt naked on the roof of your vehicle to change is discouraged too.

Maryann:

Did you receive my e-mail cancelling the Coraor Clan entries? Unfortunately, the last minute presentation of a lengthy "honey-do" list from my wife (who is still recovering from her surgery) is going to keep us home this weekend.

I didn't realize that by "limited on-site camping" it meant limited to "in car/truck only". Is there a campground nearby for tent camping?

All I could find in addition to Wayne's link was Burr Park in Torrington

Mike Lloyd is offering his place for camping if anyone is interested. He about 1 mile from the site from what I understand.

Thanks for the help on camping. I opted for a warm bed and hot shower that only cost me $25 more than the out of state camping fees. I guess it's a sign of age when you start looking for comfort.
