looking to paddle the lower memorial day weekend, have found limited info regarding scheduled releases and so far have only found sunday and Monday listed. Have to assume Saturday would be also but can’t seem to find anything to confirm that. Was hoping to also include Friday. Any one local who paddles this who could give me some insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

thanx…usually the charts for whats running/levels locally for daily paddling, but for a trip want to make sure there is going to be enough water so I know when I’ll be able to paddle…aka scheduled releases. Good to know this particular river runs all the time..

Might want to check about permits to put on. Memorial Day is the start of the silly season for the lower and they have new rules and I believe the shuttle buses (from take out to take out parking lot) will be up and running. During the week in May/June you have the river pretty much to yourself but need to provide shuttle yourself to the parking lot at take out. I was going solo so had to bribe a tourist to help me set shuttle. If they are running a few rafts down the river they will NOT pick you up to help with shuttle. Great fun river. Don’t miss eating at the Stone House out on the main drag. Super good food and craft beers reasonable price.
