Hello Northeast paddlers!
As the summer heats up, we wanted to invite you to consider registering for Rootstock Racing’s Jolly Roger Paddle, a perfect end-of-the-season adventure in the coastal marshes along the Jersey shore. Come join us for seven hours of paddling and navigation in serpentine channels and grassy islands, sheltered from the ocean by Brigantine and under the watch of Atlantic City.
Teams of two and solos are welcome, and unlike last year’s linear course, this year’s course allows racers to take on as much or as little of the course as you desire.
Boat rentals proved to be more challenging than usual (no one seems to kayak anymore on the shor), so sign up soon. We have a guaranteed number of boats, and once the seats are filled, we will start a wait list if necessary and attempt to get our hands on more boats.
Don’t miss out on a grand adventure. Course directors Abby Perkiss and Brian Reiss report that this is some of the most fun and interesting paddling they have ever done. We hope to see you in the marshes!
